The New World Festival celebrates the Celtic and French American musical heritage brought to northern New England by English, Scottish, Irish and French-Canadian immigrants. The Festival has earned a reputation as one of the finest traditional music events in Vermont. Chandler Center for the Arts was named Best Music Hall in the 2013 “Editor’s Choice” awards of Yankee Magazine’s Travel Guide to New England.
